Aside from private practice, Dr. Chris has been involved in several teaching positions. These include positions at Uni of NSW as an associate lecturer, teaching various anatomy subjects to Chiropractic and Medical students, up until 1994. After graduating with his Animal Chiropractic diploma, Dr. Chris continues as a key lecturer for the Animal Chiropractic course.
Dr. Chris’ animal chiropractic patients consist mostly of horses, dogs and cats, with a large variety of other animals including the unusual, such as camels, pythons, kangaroos, birds, guinea pigs and pet rats to name a few. Dr. Chris’ approach is - “Well, if it’s got a spine, then I can probably help!”
As shown by his lecturing background, Dr. Chris places a great deal of emphasis in explaining things to his patients, in a way they can understand. You will often see him drawing and writing on his trusty white-board whilst in with patients, to make sure they are understanding what is happening.
With three children of his own, Dr. Chris is a great advocate of chiropractic for children and babies. He adjusted his own children within days of their birth, and encourages all new mums to come in with their new-borns for at least a simple check over.
Getting our Health back on track can seem a daunting task, and then actually staying on track, can seem even more difficult. More often than not, we already know most of what we need to do, in order to at least make a start. What Dr. Chris will do is to help you get the focus you need to get where you want to go. Sometimes we just need someone who’ll be like a private coach, who’ll keep reminding us why we are making changes, and encourage us to keep going.
